Free Keyword Competition Research – Analysis SEO Tool Online
If you ever plan to build niche websites to make money or to research new keywords to increase your SEO traffic then you should probably use some kind of keyword competition analysis tool.
Basically, what a keyword competition research or analysis tool does is that it will tell you how competitive a keyword is to rank for at the search engines. If a keyword is far too competitive to rank for; then you shouldn’t be wasting your time, money, and energy trying to rank an impossible keyword. On the other hand, if it’s a low competition keyword and has good search volume, then ideally, this keyword is what you want to focus your SEO efforts on.
I just came across a totally free SEO keyword competition research tool. It’s called Keyword Revealer and it’s awesome! Because it’s free! And it works!
Make a free account, then use the free keyword tool. Here’s what it looks like:
So I’m researching the keyword “web hosting”.
Here are the results:
The data shows pretty much the same thing as the google awords keyword planner tool, but you get a simpler looking data table with the CPC and estimated profits data. Then you would click on the EVALUATE button in the keyword row you are interested in to get the keyword competition analysis. So in this example, I’ve chosen the keyword “best web hosting”.
Here you will get some cool details of the keyword competition (competitiveness or difficulty level) analysis. You also can see the domain availability, competitors’ URL, backlinks, pagerank, social signals, keywords in URL, title, etc.
So for this example “best web hosting”, the difficulty level is 72/100 (Do Not Even Think About it!). So as you can see this keyword is very difficult to try and rank for, so it is not a good idea to pursue this keyword.
Ideally, you want to look for keywords that are around 35 or lower (the lower the better). You’ll have a much better chance to get these keywords ranked, get search engine traffic, and make some money!
Lastly, you should find keywords that have at least 1000 search volume a month. The higher the search volume the better, but make sure the difficulty level is 35 or less still.

This is a nice tool mate! 4 activities made in one place, it saves us a lot of times using several tools! You did well sharing your post on Kingged.com; i come from there!
Its quite hard to believe such a potential keyword tool is offered free.
I tried a bit at Market Samurai tool. But at times, I find it bit complex.
This seems more simple to use.
Thanks for this amazing find.
PS: I got here from Kingged.com
Keyword competition research will tell you how competitive a specific keyword is to rank at search engines and an SEO expert knows how difficult it is to research new keywords to increase traffic.
So this tool would probably help them a lot to do their keyword research easier and faster. I guess many SEO guys out there will try to use this tool because aside from being simple and handy, Keyword Revealer is also free. And ohh! for content writers as well!
By the way, found this post shared on kingged.com
