Wordfence Security sounds like a very good plugin. I have Better WP Security, which does much the same job. Other essential plugins in my view are Robert Plank’s Backup Creator, which backs up the whole of your site so you can reinstal if it crashes, or just copy to a new location to clone a site, and Paper Template, which gives you ready made sales letter, squeeze page and opt-in form, and more. Both are $7.00 a year for the basic version, which is all most people will need.
Thanks for recommendations. I was picking between Better WP security or wordfence (both are very good) and I choose wordfence mainly because it has that extra .1 on the user ratings 🙂
