The most sure fire way to make cash is to sell some of your stuff. You can also find stuff at garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, and other places to sell on these sites.
I know several people who haunt the GoodWill or Salvation Army stores and sell things found there online. I know people who buy clearance stuff at Wal-Mart and sell it for a profit.
If you do craft items, you can make a pretty penny on some of these sites. This will obviously require a bit more work on your part.

These are sites where you get paid to do different things. As I mentioned, make absolutely sure you understand the “deal” before you sign up for something.
Some of the sites you complete offers. The site is basically a CPA provider and get paid from the companies for people signing up for things and they then pay you a part of it.
You need to make sure to know how to cancel if it is something you don’t want. You can get into some high dollar items if you can complete the offers. Most people then sell them for cash.
Just be careful. I also know people who have charged up hundreds of dollars worth of stuff and screwed themselves.
Others you just do the task and get paid.

These are sites where you can upload photos, videos, audios, and music to make some cash. The way it works is they either buy your stuff OR you make money when someone else buys your stuff.
Some are like “eBay” for these specialized items. The trick is to see what KIND of items sell the best and then make some of those.
The biggest thing to remember for the photo sites – DO NOT HAVE PEOPLE IN THE PHOTOS!! You need to get them to sign a “model release” form (you can find generic ones online, do a Google search). Otherwise you can get sued for a lot of money.
This is something you can do with all of those pictures from your vacation of the “pretty stuff” to make some extra cash.
Just like some of the other sites, IF you have a talent for these, you can make a new career out of it. These also MUST be your own original works.

Surveys and Opinions
You make a variety of different amounts for taking a survey. There are also “blended sites” where they have surveys as part of the site.
You will usually have to go through a lot of hoops with surveys. You will answer some questions and then be told you don’t qualify. There are also usually a limited number of surveys available per day to take.
The pay can range from $0.25 to dollars each for the surveys. If you are a member of enough of these sites, you can make some good dollars from them.
I have yet to find ones where you can make “$3500 a month” like you see in some of the ads.
For me, surveys are hit and miss and some days there will be none to take or you qualify for. You will NOT make a ton of money.
You may also spend a few minutes taking the survey and then get kicked out and make nothing. Such is life.
These are some consumer review sites. You usually give your opinion for a set amount on different things. Web sites, clothes, apps, and many other items people buy.
